Do City still have a chance to get into the uefa cup instead of the inter toto this season by way of some fair play draw malarky or am I completely mistaken?

we have a two out of 12 chance. Or 17% chance if you like.

Just some info on this.
Serbia and Montenegro take on Italy in the UEFA European Under-21 Championship final tonight at the Ruhrstadion, Bochum, Germany.
Kick-off is 19.45 Irish time so you can expect news of the UEFA Cup draw sometime after 20.30

Cork City FC are in the draw along with 10 other teams, from which 2 will be chosen to participate in the UEFA Cup.
The other teams are;
Denmark: Esbjerg FB
Norway: SK Brann
England: Charlton Athletic FC
Germany: SC Freiburg
Ukraine: The Ukrainian league season runs until 19 June. Therefore the team enters the draw as 'Representative of Ukraine'.
Finland: FC Lahti
Spain: RDC Mallorca
Albania: KS Teuta
Armenia: FC MIKA (second-placed FC Kotayk did not receive a UEFA licence.)
Iceland: Throttur Reykjavik

I don't think cork will get it. Those draws are rigged so teams like city won't get it.

Last year the french and english teams got it. The same happened when UCD were in the draw.

My bet would be that Charlton and the german team get it.

Uefa are a shower of *******s who are only interested in helping the big clubs.

good luck anyway!

you may well be right about it being dodgy but for the record Man City didn't come out of the draw last season, they won the automatic spot, as England we're on top of the Fair Play standings, so we knew right away they were going through.

Seems like its regionalised to me. 1 western, northern & eastern country per year?
