I sent you to the FAQ item (http://foot.ie/faq.php?faq=faq#faq_username) so I know you've read it. You haven't complied with it though.

That's because it said the thread was closed? I clicked to this one http://foot.ie/threads/131902-Name-Change

I linked to a FAQ item, not a thread, both when I emailed you and in post #2 above. If you don't read the FAQ item and comply with it, you don't get your handle changed, simple as. At this stage even if you do, I'm not sure I'd bother, you've already wasted enough of my time.

You need to post a good reason to change your username. If you don't, you're justing going to **** Dahamsta off, because the FAQ says as much. He works in IT. IT people hate it when you don't read the FAQ. It's like starting a new thread in the Ireland forum about Trap and Andy Reid to them.

I totally see his grouchy point, but all it says it post in the support forum. But where exactly??? Which thread like? Apologies if I'm ****ing anyone off, but its not very clear. Why cant there be an actual official thread like most other forums???

A new thread (as you've done) as far as I can see. Just post why you want to change your username.

I don't think the FAQ item is in the least bit complex. What's not to understand?

Well to be honest I'd rather not publicly give the reason for the name change, Dahamsta, would it be ok to give this in private or email please? Not being a **** over it but the reasons are best left in the past but it's not nice.

You can PM the details to me. You also need to agree to the conditions outlined in the FAQ item, i.e. that you won't be able to change again, and your current username will appear below your new username for 1 month.
