London Irish my fellow green geezer, i got a hotel in Bydgoszcz through this website www.poland4u.com. Trains back to Warsaw after the game that night from what i found were only the slow one's getting back to Warsaw the next morning.
Not many hotel's in the city only a few and two of them were only open during the summer, the pod orlem hotel seem's to be the main hotel (and landmark) so try and check that one out, the city seem's pretty small so the ground can't be to far from the center of town.
All the best in yer search.
