wembley will bounce back to premier with or without barry dillon, and jason sheehan would be an excellent addition for regional
I would love to see wembley bounce back but barry will be a huge lose for ye, i dont think jason sheehan will make a big differance to regional.

is that true oscar about glasheen,i heard brian collopy was goin up there.kelliher will probably go back there as well, james hayes maybe.very few good keepers around so when you have 1 you need to keep him.has daithi done any poaching there yet.pa barry maybe?

Glasheen is staying with the boro, brian collopy would be mad to play junior soccer after getting an u19 cap last year and i think pa barry would be a very goos signing for star rovers.

would not be suprised if Pat Barry went back too Star Rovers.... he is a Star Rovers man... Good player and he gave his all for the boro last season..a good all round bloke.
Darren told me himself that he was not leaving so you can only take a man at his word..Cant imagine brian collopy will go back too junior football way too good..

if no league of ireland club comes in for brian he will probably sign a junior form.im surprised scully got rid of him very good keeper,a lot of the locals seem to be released recently, taught they were trying to keep it mostly local, amazing what the few bob does.good for junior league though.

According to the Limerick fans Collopy is off to the States on a scholarship and so is Ian Storan so this is why he was released. Other than that there is only two more Limerick lads released. Barr Kiely, Rogers, O'Flynn, Kavanagh, Ryan, Deady, Kelly and White the rest of the players are local lads from Limerick. 7 non Limerick players and the rest of the squad from Limerick. Even at that the other lads barr Rogers and White are from Tipp, Waterford, Cork and Clare. All very close areas. Limerick probably has more local lads playing for them than any other LOI team outside of Dublin Clubs.

Thought Gary Higgins was decent when we played against him but ive seen as good if not better players around the lower leagues. A couple of very good lads playing with Killmallock and Charleville. Maybe Gary has youth on his side and can only get better though cause i think i heard he was only 20. He scored an great goal in the 3A Cup final this season too.

When you go up the main street in Killmallock you will see a Pub (Red or Wine in colour) on the corner on the right. If you take a right turn just there before the pub and drive a long that road to a small roundabout and take the first exit. It will be about 100 yards up on the right hand side of this road. The Killmallock lads might give you better directions than this but hope it helps.

lads we are going off the point now.thought this was a preseason transfer thread.can we not stick to the thread and bring the petty limerick squabbling elsewhere before it starts getting out of hand.if a post isnt to do with who is going where between junior clubs can we leave it out?

Out of the players released
Ian and Brian are off to America and Conor Molan is out for the season so that just leaves Robbie as the only local released ?

Fergal O Connell is leaving the country i was told, regional also losing Brian Keating who is also heading off to some part of the world, Marty Foley and Mike Ahern are gone too but i hear Tony Fahy is going back there and a few from from Desmond league coming in too. Fahy will be a big addition and regional should go close to winning the league again with their new managers

Davy o Grady leaving pike, going back to avenue utd.
If true, Davy has been a great servant to Pike over the last 6 or 7 years. Phenomenal workrate

agree noddy.a very hard worker on the field.I feel tho that since pike have added the few ex league of ireland players his place has been in constant danger in a very competitive midfield for pike.I think he is kinda suffering the same fate as dave morris did and may of had to be happy to be more of a squad player.he would be a good addition to any other premier team if they could sign him.another victim of too big a pike squad tho i think.

O Grady is staying with pike rovers still got the legs has been with the club 10yrs now has picked up alot of trophies and will carry on to do so, mike ahern would be a great signing for pike and i heard willie o brien is signing can anyone confirm, are all premier matchs this season kicking off at 2 so that linesmen would be available i dont think this would suit clubs.
