Wouldn't mind ET and a penalty shootout tonight. Or would it go to a replay?

You say that now but remember the cobh game?!
The quicker I get out of there and back to ghouling with red dead redemption the better. Hopefully either side (not even particularly pushed about which one!!) will be a couple of goals up with fifteen minutes left.

What's the team news like for Limerick?

I don't know are Hughes and Judge suspended or what's the craic.
Deady went off injured the other night. I think Kavanagh is still out. Wouldn't be surprised if a lot of the reserves got played to be honest.
If I wasn't so lazy a fair lump of my dole would be going on Monaghan.

After talking to Kav, he said Kelly didn't single anyone out, just made the complaint in general, I mean Christ, what did he do so wrong tonight? He was outta position and didn't do as badly as some people mad him out to do. The amount of abuse he got tonight was ridiculous. Granted I don't agree with him threatening fans but Jesus lay off him, he's trying out of position, what more do ya want? Disgrace the way he was treated in the shed. Just ask the question, why Kelly? First goal was nobodys fault, second goal was Daveys fault and third was everyones fault, I can't understand why the lad gets abused.

Ya a couple of times Kelly was caught trying to clear the ball with his bad foot (his left) and instead of players showing for the ball and helping him out they just complained when he hoofed it and it went to touch. Davy seriously needs to straighten his leg though, his kicks are all over the place (well usual straight into touch). You could tell there was something wrong with the players, Purcell had one of his worst performances i have ever seen if you ask me, he wasn't as assured in the air as he usually is, and the lads all walked off with their heads in the ground. They knew how poor they where tonight so i think this is one of those cases where the fans need to cut them some slack and let the players know we are still behind them. The confidence has dropped a nice bit in the last two games and the last thing the players need is the fans on their backs at the moment. I'd say at the moment the mid-season break can't come quick enough. If we can get the win next Tuesday before the break it will the give the lads a good chance to regroup and go into the second half strong.

Yeah don't think it's great for a players confidence when he's told by his own fans that he's fooking crap every week

The first was Purcells fault for giving away a needless free kick when we were in position..Now granted the player buried the free right in the corner. But Paddy should not have given that free away.
Agree with the comments regardign Kelly. He wasnt the worst out there and took a lot of abuse that wasnt warranted.

Wasn't at the game so cant say too much but this has been happening all season certain players like kelly make a mistake and they get abused and when others make them nothing is said it is just picking on players for no reason most of the time.
Now im no angel i shout at players if they make mistakes but anything Kelly does he is abused and it seems to go un-noticed when he does something good.

I would like to thank Limerick for the dignity and good humour with which we were recieved in Jackman Park. It was a pleasure dealing with your officials and despite a small crowd, the whole event was hosted in a professional and friendly manner. Our fans have come away from Limerick with great memories and a enjoyed the historic moment of reaching our first ever senior semi finals.
Thank you.

Fair play, ye brought down a nice crowd considering the distance and the night of the week. Monaghan were full value for the win but Limerick just didn't seem interested. Good luck in the semi's.

Thanks lads. I just think that when a club does stuff right they should be acknowledged coz there are enough people who knock a club when they screw up. (was gonna say there were enough knockers but knowing the childish mentality on here thought better of it......"huh huh she said knockers")

i'd like to point out I was at the opposite side of the field to all that craic with Kelly. :D
IMO he gets a harder time than most because his attitude is a disgrace. I'm not justifying it btw, just suggesting why it might happen.
Last night was pants, pants, pants. That be a fairly limited Monaghan side that rode us. But whatever it was only the tin cup two bob trophy. No need for panic. Until next Tuesday............
