    Spy in the camp

It will come as a shock to many but a current UCD squad member is secretely a Finn Harps fanatic!!!For legal reasons I am unable to disclose the name of this "judas" like squad member but whilst he was in my company he was singing the Finn Harps anthem full of passion and commitment.

Once there was a football team from dear old donegal,
and in the league they said we'd have no chance at all,
And we made them eat their words and made them feel so small.
when they came to Finn Park, Ballybofey,

Finn Harps, Finn Harps, were really on our way,
Finn Harps, Finn Harps, were really here to stay,
were the team that scores the goals
and scores them at our ease
    in Finn Park, Ballybofey

Impressed "Judas"????have you the courage to respond

It's either a wind-up or Micko from Carndonagh, I presume?

I have heard the above song sung in Finn Park and thought hmmmm I recognise that tune and those were not the words I heard sung to it before.
Then I was watching a Glasgow Derby game on TV ( No not Partick V Queen's Park) and realised it is the same tune as a song sung at Ibrox Park by the home supporters.... strange or what?

As regards who the Dubliner U.C.D. player who is a closet Finn Harps supporter might be, probably someone with a Donegal connection ,e.g. parents .

            College Till I Die

P.S. U.C.C. won the Collingwood again they are only 30 or so behind us on the winners list
P.P.S. Did the spy play in the Finn Park game.... did he throw the game

Hello, hello. Maybe just to annoy Derry fans!

                  Isn't Willie Doyle's dad a harps fan?
" I'll go right up to here,
                  it can't possibly hurt.
All they will find is my
                  beer and my shirt."
