was at the longford-ccfc match last week,disappointed overall.what disappointed me most of all was one Desmond Baker.what do ye think of him up in longford.IMO he did very little against liam kearney and danny murphy,granted he scored a crackin goal up in tolka against Dumpland City.just wonderin wot ye think of him seein as he couldnt get into the shels team last season.and what is up with that friggin hair :eek: !?

he is playing on the left which isn't his best position, i feel if kirby doesn't improve soon we could see him on the right where he will be more at home...he had a good pre season and it takes a while to settle into the team after not playing much last year for shels....

I have to agree with you that he wasn't great Sat. nite.I think he is a good signing.He has played OK so far but his work rate isn't the best but then again that isn't his style.I still think he has a lot to offer and he isn't afraid to shoot but only time will tell.I have to say i thought your superstars ( Georgie & Fenn ) were quiet for a lot of the game and didn't want to know when we applied a very very very small amount of pressure on ye.I hope J.O.F. is back for ye soon or else the league will be between Bohs & Shels again because there is a definate gap appearing again between those 2 and the rest of the Teams and it is only 4 games gone.

He looked good up front for us in the one game he played but I suppose you're not short in that area.

I think he will turn out to be a good signing but at the moment he seems to be trying too many 'fancy' flicks and touches where as if he gets the ball into the box for keego he would be much better off.

agreed fenn and george were sickening in longford,baker aint gonna really get stuck into that dogged work is he though-as in a defensive role.

I think Baker's going to be class,he needs to settle in tho! Id slightly agree that he doesnt track back enough and leaves a lot of work for the back 4.He can sometimes give simple balls away.....
Saying all that,hes class,his first touch is good and hes got flare and style.
