This may be our only chance of any little bit of joy this season so lets hope we put as strong side out as possible tonight. Kick off @ 7.45 in the Carlisle.

Many Dundalk fans making the trip down?

Not many going down...we will have a very young and weakened side on display...personally would like to see us out of this competition

We'll have a young and weakened side too, it's all we've got!

You got your wish :)

Bray 4-3 winnersafter penos. We nearly threw it away after being 2 up at alf time, we were coasting but gave away an early 2nd half peno and Dundalk came into the game a bit more. Got an equaliser and the game was even enough after that. Over all including extra time we created more chances and shaded it. Very entertaining game for 2 very youthful sides.

UCD in the semis next for Bray.

Hopefully we can get a copy of of Shane O'Neill's 2nd goal, unreal strike

Fantastic result for the lads last night.

Sorry I missed it.

Bit worrying that we can't hold on to a lead though.....

At least we kept our nerves and won on penos. I can only see that helping the lads.

Absolutely!

A win is a win.
Should boost the confidence.

Thought Chris Shields made an excellent captain, led by example throughout. And during the penos he was doing a captains job, first to Jake after his miss. Give him the armband, Daire Doyle won't mind!

Made a big difference from he's preformance against Drogheda, good to see.

I thought Shields played well against Drogheda.

He must have made at least 7 or 8 fouls after being booked, thought he was lucky to stay on the pitch. Not for anthing bad, just persistant fouling. Other than that he played well :D

We call that 'getting stuck in'

Absolutely, fully agree ! i still think he was a bit lucky though, after being booked he gave away far to many free kicks, and as i said, not for anything bad, just small stuff but he was lucky.

Looking back on the match highlights on MNS, we really were unlucky not to have won the game.

The MNS commentator on the highlights section actually (without laughing) said that the ref had a good game. In fairness to the panel they picked up some of his decisions. He had a stinker.

Eddie summed it up nicely in his post match comments!
