Wow - there's no points for playing a game at all. So Greg Bolger - played 90 minutes, conceded one goal, so he gets no points. Ditto defenders, so you're as well picking reserve Bray defenders so you can save your points-scoring players for the better teams. Needs a lot of work done there.

Still, it's the same for everyone. And it's passinginterest who takes an early lead with 22 points. Appropriately, * Deducted 9 Points brings up the rear on -3. 99 players so far.

A max of 5 a month or 25 overall, it seems.

I don't see anyone getting the bonus points for man of the match either, so it's basically goals and nothing else, which is a bit ridiculous. Not that we'd expect anything more from the FAI. But still, if they learn from it and improve it next year, it'll be worth it.

How come Ken Oman got 6 points and Conor Powell only got 3? They were both in the same defence and both kept a clean sheet? Also Barry Murphy got no points for a clean sheet? Bit of a joke in all honesty. Hope it's improved asap.

Ken Oman got the bonus points for player of the week apparently, it's on the tabs across the top somewhere. Not sure why Barry Murphy wouldn't have scored points.

That explains that then. I looked at a few teams with Murphy in it and they have 3 points for him but for my bro's team he has 0 points. Doesn't make sense!

I'd say there's still plenty of bugs in the system. Send them an email and I'd say they'll correct it, they seem to be open to feedback.

Points are difficult enough to get with no points for assists & being penalised heavily for conceding.

They have given points for the early match on Saturday when it clearly states on the team page,

Please note that points-scoring does not begin until 19:45 on Saturday 29th May. You will NOT score points for Airtricity League games that take place before this date.

I set up my team without Boh's & Rovers players because of this & now because of this mistake people who read the rules are penalised.

Points scoring is messed up at the moment. All my players played this week but Killian Brennan was the only player to pick up points. The rest all got 0 :confused:

Still no update for last Friday's games, even though they say weekend scores will be updated by the Tuesday. Sadly already looking like the usual shoddy-ness from the FAI. Great idea, but with the points structure, the mid-season start and the lack of updates, it does more to reinforce a negative, half-arsed impression of the league than acting as a positive addition.

God the points scoring system is awful especially for defenders I got -1 last week no players scored points in mid , attack or goalkeeper ridiculous

I'd say it's only updated for last Monday's games; Friday will go up tomorrow. There's a "Last updated" note somewhere on your team page.

Why don't they just base the points scoring on the fantasy premier league model?Before somebody makes the point about not wanting to be like the english premiership etc the fantasy football league is excellent,the points scoring system is exciting and for this reason the game is hugely popular. Why fix whats not broken?Copy the system exactly as it is and it wouls make the loi game a lot more interestinf if it is the n monitored correctly. I for one have lost interest and don't bother changing my team anymore and id say there are plenty more like me. If they had a decent point scoring system that was updated after games it would be a great idea.

It's very confusing as to what games the points are being awarded for and what week it's on. Very frustrating so far, especially as they seem to be using the simplest possible scoring system. Hopefully they can improve it for next season.

Winner was a dundalk fan fair play 2 him he won 3,000 euro i had a good season finished 55th overall only 40 points off top spot but in my private league i was 20 points clear and slipped up level going into final week and lost by 3 in the end real sickner

The home page (http://airtricity.fantasyleague.com/Index.aspx) for this says "See you next season", but nothing's happened since. They didn't start this until after round 1 last year I think; any word at all if it'll be running again this year?

Apparently the league admin is down from 8 to 3 people. if you notice a lot of stuff from website to twitter/facebook etc hasn't been done since Eoghan Rice left his position there
