    vs Shamrock Rovers (League)

    My take on Monday night's game is really this simple, take nothing from it. Rovers fielded a strong team but one that took its foot off the gas and had an extra gear or three while UCD fielded an almost second-string side.

      Bit of a sickener, particularly given Twigg had done next to nothing all game. No exaggeration to say he was the difference between the two teams. Still, performing well though.

      No offence to Shorty, but Jesus (capital J just to annoy schumi), that txt spk thing in the programme was embarrassing!

      Galway next week is a biggie. Drogheda are fading in the distance; Sligo's win means the gap to eighth is rather close again.
