Munster Derby tops the bill
The first Munster Derby of the season takes place on Tuesday evening when Cork City clash with Waterford United while elsewhere, there is plenty of other action with Shamrock Rovers taking on Longford Town, Drogheda United host Derry City and Dublin City face St Patrick’s Athletic.
Cork City v Waterford United – Turners Cross (Kick off 7:00)
Having failed to beat Waterford in any of the four meetings last season, Cork will be out to gain the upper hand this term.
“It’s a Munster derby and the biggest game in the country. Forget form and League position, this game is huge and there will be a big crowd out for it,” said Cork boss Pat Dolan.
