Mons missed the first peno apparently

According to some of our fans who made it behind the goal before the penos started, the ball crossed the line. It hit off the inside of the crossbar and was cleared out. But I really dont give a damn now! :D

I know! Was scared when I saw their team sheet and even the lads who aren't regular starters are still full time pros. I was delighted our lads didnt flag in extratime and that is a credit to all the extra fitness work they have been doing. Soooooo proud of them tonight. :D

Already done according to Airtiricty League on Facebook: Sligo Rovers v St. Pat's, Derry City v Shamrock Rovers, Waterford United v Dundalk, Limerick v Monaghan. All matches on June 1st.

Firstly congrats to Mons on a great victory. Not our first X1 but a strong team of full time players and a very disappointing display last night from a Bohs perspective. Best of luck to Mons in Limerick :D

I don't think Stephen Kenny will have our first team sqaud out against Shamrock rvrs.

Because of our young team this year I think he will be happy to just concentrate on getting us the first division title and anything else will be a bonus.

No disrespect to the young lads who beat Finn Harps on Monday night but if Rvrs were to play the same players they used V UCD then I would expect us to get a hammering.

Our young team we used on Mon included two 16yr olds, three 17 yr olds and two 18 yrs olds.

We can'y afford to have injuries to our 1st team squad because unlike previous years when we had a 22 senior players in our squad.
