Does anyone know if there is an inter firm league kicking off this year, i know alot of places have closed down and some jobs let people go but surely there is enough for it to take place again this year

Its definately taking place this year but i dont think it'll be as big this year maybe one division. there was ameeting in the spotted dog last thursday for teams to enter probably be an ad in the leader tomo or wednesday.

You are allowed 2 guest players and 3 contractors i think within the company, i have came up against teams with 4/5 guest players in the past, its all only a laugh anyway.

Cook Ireland played a kick around last night so did Analog.
I predict that they will both win their respective leagues
watch this space. Striker are no good this year.

Interfirm used to be taken very serious but the last few years especially this year its just going to be a bit of craic and no-one in their right minds will be taking it seriously. Its just basically a kick around and an excuse for a pss up at the end of it all. EG Dell used to have an A, B and C team now i heard they might not be entering this year? How times have changed eh.

Oponnents would rather that anyway rather than getting a walk over no matter what the result. Now if one team had 6 ringers or something then thats a bit much. It usually doesnt happen anyway as lads working for the company would demand a game anyway and rightly so. I'm playing anyway and should be a laugh. Its fun watching all the old lads come out of retirement and sweating after they even get changed :)

Ger o Brien has not retired yet, he is thinking of playing on for another year so if you are talking to him will you ask him to rethink that decision on medicial grounds:D:

Ha ha Grinder. We played against his team in a friendly last week and he missed a penalty agaisnt us. We beat them 5-2. My groin is still out. Are you playing this year for anyone? They kick off tonight 6.30 in Rathuard. I might head down for a gawk.
