In aid of the Alzheimer's Society of Ireland, a casino night will take place tonight, March 31st, in the Mardyke Entertainment Complex. Tickets for the event cost €10 and can be bought at the venue. All proceeds go to the society.

For your ten euro, you will get a hundred dollars worth of chips, which you can then use to gamble by playing roulette or blackjack. there's spot prizes galore and it's all for charity, so it's all good, really. It's great craic (except when you give your chips to someone and s/he loses all your winnings) so if you're around town tonight pop in if you can.

If you can't make it this evening there will be more functions in the next couple of months. As I'm sure most of you know, me and my buddy steve walked from Cork to Slane in order to raise funds and awareness. This year we're walking from Cork to Witness (sorry, oxyegen or whatever), for two reasons.
1) it's shorter and
2) Madonna's at Slane this year.

So any help, be it financial or just giving a hand, would be greatly appreciated. Last year we raised €10,000, and that was only with two on the team. This year we have 6 people walking, organising and collecting, so we are hoping to smash last year's record.

Cheers
