View Full Version : Micheal Healy-Rae (ConorCCFC)
Is this idiot the future of Fianna Fail and did you ever canvass for this waste of space. From the 20 minutes I seen, I wet myself laughing at his utter stupidity. From the smoking ban, to Mary Harney's lack of appreciation toward FF and finally, the homosexual marrage notion, he was some idiot.

I thought that leather flat cap he was wearing looked a bit gay.
sorry Conor...
Thought Jackie has patched up his differences with FF, still independent so it seams.
Still, How can the folk of Kerry vote for these muppets?
I thought was great the way RTE left the camera focused on Healy-Rae Junior & the Dubliner guy for a few minutes while they had their own conversation on Same Sex Marraiges.
Saying Healy-Rae isn't FF is like saying the PDs not FF.
Thought out of order the way Bowman read out Bull Island joke (at Healy-Raes expense) at the end & should be worth some extra votes for Healy-Rae in Kerry next election.
Saying Healy-Rae isn't FF is like saying the PDs not FF.
:D :D Suppose you could say the Healy-Rae's are the Real FF and the PD's are Continuity FF. :D
The guy is a complete and utter turd. I wouldn't elect him to clear the glasses off a table. The more I think about it, the more I think Ireland deserves Fianna Fáil. Only a nation of complete fools would vote for people like him
he does great work for his constituency, i'm sure of that. The roads are very nice there (bit like a few other places that had independent TDs in the last Dáil  ) but god almighty what an ignorant twerp.

Yeah i'm sure Healy-Rae plant hire made some cash out too.
If the Dail had 166 Healy-Raes the country would implode.
If he still represents FF, can I argue that Michael Lowry represents the opposition?
Michael Healy Rae and his father were NEVER elected as representatives of this constituency while members of FF. I have canvassed against both senior and junior at local and national elections.
Must say though, I know the man well enough, and know his family. And I am also aware of the huge work he puts in at local level. And it is remarkable. If he was a Socialist or in Sinn Fein in an urban area he'd be praised as a great community activist. Guess he's an easy target.
Hmmm well he helped keep FF in Government for long enough... tbh for me I wouldn't use it to bash FF (shockingly), however it is an embarrassment that they keep getting elected - I cringe everytime they are on TV. The people get the politicians they deserve - Kerry have the Healy Rae and Ferris....

I'm curious Xlex, if you wanted to talk directly to Conor about Michael Healy-Rae, why didn't you use the Private Messaging system? If you didn't want to talk directly to Conor, why did you put his handle in the thread title?
adam
suppose you could make use of the same resource adam?
Basically, I addressed the subject of this spanner to the board but I thought that Conor would have the best insight into this man of the people, the first line was only really addressed to Conor. I hadn't thought that much about my first post to be honest.
I originally thought that he was a member of FF... when it was to late I just corrected myself in the third post. Paddy had beat me to the edit. :(
Anyway, is it a big deal. I don't know enough about politics to have a rip at Conor, nor am I really that way inclined.
