I'd normally sooner post a link to child porn than goal.com, but this is the best English-language link on this I can find:

You may remember Juventus were found to have been influencing the referee selections a few years back. They were stripped of two titles, and relegated. Milan were docked points in the same scandal. Now it looks like pretty much every team were doing this to some extent, most particularly Inter Milan, who were the big winners in 2006 when Milan and Juve were punished and have dominated Italian football since.

interesting but likely to drag on for a while.

Inter's legend Facchetti is mainly involved and he died a couple of years ago. Season 2006 (originally won by Juventus, then assigned to Inter) might be left without a winner

Can't find a link but I read a couple of weeks ago (and it was mentioned on the Guardian's Football Weekly podcast) that the allegations against Inter didn't add up to much. They contacted the referee's head to complain about certain refs, and stuff like that.

True, the allegations against Inter didn't add up to much, but just because it's old stuff and everybody already knew. Actually it's much more than just complain, they were sort of requesting help. The talking between Inter's official and referee's head was published, so it's not just rumours. On the other hand it must be said that most of the big clubs were doing the same. Inter were the only club not punished or deducted points, they were even given the scudetto 2006
