Cork City v Longford Town - Friday night
One thing you're guaranteed with Town games this season is goals. We have the worst defence in the league by 4 goals after only 5 games, and we're joint 3rd top scorers as well. We can definitely score goals, but our defence is shocking. Cork's front 2 are very good as well, so I can only see goals here, and lots of them. Over 2.5 goals is a cert her I think, and I'm lumping on.
5pts on Over 2.5 goals @21/20 (WillHill)

Yeah, we've had 16 goals in the first 5 games. 9 for and 7 against so looks a good bet.

We're 9/14, 23 in total! Our defence is a joke though, Cummins and O'Neill will have a field day. :(

I think Bohs are astonishing value at 5/4 (slightly more with betfair)

Going with a 2/1 treble that there will be 1.5 goals or more in the three games - Cork, Derry and Waterford
Sporting Fingal and St pats just over 3/1
shamrock - bohs, dundalk -ucd, bray- sligo (2-2 draw at 14/1!) - three draws juts over 32/1, a long shot but seems to be a lot of draws so far in the season!
and my big bet of the night, Vinnie Faherty at 6/4 to score tonight
sorry with PP

Pat's to beat Drogheda -1 is 17/10 with Paddy Power. Drogs' defence is horrific (17 goals against in 5 games), while Pat's have only conceded one, so that alone is pointing at a 2-0 win or so.

Cork have a few players missing and another few doubtful for the game against Longford. Longford to cause an upset?
I fancy Harps to get the better of the Youths but I'll probably stay away from this one.

A silly 'away day' treble for me this weekend @ 10.4 - Shels, Bohs, Fingal.

I'm tempted by this as well after seeing Cork's team news, but I can't bring myself to back us coz our defence is so bad and Cork's strike force is good. We're decent enough going forward and are a much better team then last year, but our defence doesn't inspire confidence.

I've done a treble of over 1.5 goals in Cork/Longford, Derry/Mervue and Rovers/Bohs.
About 11/5 with PP.
I stuck with just the double on the Derry and Cork matches. Good start :)
