Looking for some help from UCD supporters -

1. What is the best bus route to the ground ?
2. How much (approx) would a taxi cost from the city centre ?
3. Is the bar beside the ground open on Monday evening ?

Thanks.

From Dublin city centre, the 10 will take you directly into the campus, the 46A and 145 will drive right by the main entrance off the N11 (get out at the Montrose hotel) or get any of the 11 buses to the Clonskeagh gate (get off at AIB's Clonskeagh branch). I'd say a taxi would cost around €15. I don't know about the bar.

Following on from what Poor Student wrote

Pick up from O'Connell St., Nassau St. and Kildare St. Likely to be a Sunday service.

This will bring you to the Clonskeagh Rd. entrance (AIB Bank) from there go 200 meters to a circle at the large Sports Centre. Take a left at the circle and follow the meandering route to a T-Junction. A right turn brings you to recommended parking, the left turn brings you to the turnstiles and Entrance to the Stadium.

Cannot wait!

I'm hoping to liveblog the game for any fans of either side that can't make it (figure a Bank Holiday Monday mightn't see a few regulars from both unable to attend). It all depends on how well the Wireless in the Bowl works. Assuming it all goes ahead you'll be able to follow the text updates at Action81.com

Any team news of note from your side?

I haven't heard anything. As far as I know, no one was hurt on Friday so it'll probably be the same squad with maybe Harding or Corry moving up from the bench.

Just to clarify on the Live Blog for tonight. The plan is to have a proper live blog using text updates over at Action81.com. I saw on the http://www.galwayunitedfc.net that there was some confusion that it might be from our Twitter page. We will have some tweets but the bulk of the coverage will be on the main site.

Ah, there was a nice back-heeled flick at one point in the second half.
UCD can play some nice stuff but didn't keep it going at all. I'll be back for the next game though.

In fairness to both teams, it was fairly blustery (which, looking at the main forum, seems to have affected the games in Drogheda and Fingal too) and the pitch was very bobbly. YoP's right that we played some nice stuff, but it always fell apart before we reached the box. Galway's finishing was woeful, and they look like they'll struggle because of that (plus, I think they got four yellows last night, so Seán Connor's not changed!). Again, Paul Corry's introduction gave us an extra dimension; hopefully he'll be fit to start on Friday.

Really poor game. The pitch was bad and the wind made it difficult but there was more to it than that. Our passing was poor, we often took too much out of the ball and didn't shoot enough. Galway reminded me of Bray, they could still be playing out there and wouldn't have scored. I think Billy had one save to make in the game.

Having seen Galway, Drogheda and Bray, I don't think we'll be in any danger of relegation this year. We weren't much better than Galway last night but at least I've seen us play better than that earlier in the season while their results would indicate that that's about their level.

Only reason I got as much as that is that some of the highlights are ironic; they're there to show how bad the game was. In particular, Galway's finishing at times bordered on the hilarious.

Also, I've no internet at home and no sound in work, so any suggestions for random muzak at the start are welcome.
