That's 4 opposition players sent off in their first 4 games, Bohs are having some luck to start the season. I expect them to grab a last minute winner tonight too

FFS!

I just logged onto RTE website to get result tonight and my heart actually skipped a beat when I saw Bohemians 0-5 Sligo Rovers (http://www.rte.ie/sport/soccer/2010/0326/bohs_sligo.html). I excitedly clicked on the link:

Bohemians 0-5 Sligo Rovers
Friday, 26 March 2010 22:18

League champions Bohemians were held to a scoreless draw against ten-man Sligo in Friday night's Airtricity League Premier Division clash at Dalymount Park

Idiots.

yep the scoreline flatters us, fair play to drogs probly deserved more even if the ref gave a few decisions their way....

but 3 pnts is always good

Shamrock Rovers fans need to start showing some more respect. This thing of playing keepy uppy in the stand when the ball goes into them is a joke. They only throw it back in when the ref sends for another ball.

Great followers of their club though. Never stopped singing for the 90 minutes

That was an immense performance by the bit o red tonight. Referee did everything in his power to orchestrate a Bohs win. I'd like to know how many minutes he played for injury time. Felt a lot more than four anyways.
Bohs aren't as strong as last year imo. Missing a bit of creativity in midfield I feel. They only cut us open once and even then Brush was out quickly to smother it.
There were a few boos for Raf but not a whole lot really.

Thought he played just the 4 minutes. Very good performance alright. Were well on top in the second half before the sending off. We may well have won it if it had stayed 11 each

Just back in after Terryland and watching the recording of the game in Terryland. After Sullivan's antics when he was sent off in Terryland last season (when he refused to leave the pitch and had a barney with a steward) I think karma is wonderful, even if he did score tonight.
And if Rovers are the 'model' club with the 'model' fans, then they can keep their scum club. The fans - throwing flares on pitch, refusing to give the ball back from the stand. The players - refusing to put the ball out when O'Donnell went down injured, despite United putting it out when Sullivan went down. If that is the example the players are setting the fans, no wonder they behave like Neanderthals. Much as it pains me to say it . . . Bohs for the league

Are you serious? A guy argues with a steward 8 months ago so you're happy to see him go down with a potentially very serious injury which left him in serious pain, stretchered from the field looking at him being out for several months. You're a top fella you are. The ref stopped the game when Sullivan was injured, he didn't when O'Donnell went down, because O'Donnell was fine and there was nothing wrong with him. Wasn't there a rule change in the last couple of years to ensure that teams play on in such situations?

Also, this week's shot against Rovers is a classic...fans not giving the ball back. After last week's disgusting act by Michael O'Neill where it was revealed on here how he didn't stop for a chat when shaking Ian Foster's hand, I wonder what it will take for the FAI to throw Rovers out of the league? Maybe next week those disgusting fans will chant and sing through a health & safety announcement over the PA. Whatever happens I look forward to it being justly exposed on here this time next week.

So whats the excuse for throwing flares on the pitch?

They had a flare (more than 1?) and threw it onto the pitch. As far as I know, nobody was injured.

No big issue in my opinion, neither is them not giving the ball back.

arent flares disallowed though and cause fines for the clubs? Totally ridiculous in my opinion, im one of those that likes flares at games.

Oh I know that. Fines for Rovers or for Galway...Rovers I'd imagine.

It's stupid to throw flares from that perspective, but there are worse things fans could be doing. Certainly doesn't justify the term 'scum' and 'neanderthals' in my opinion.

Not giving the ball back to waste some time is unsporting.
The ref didnt stop the game for the Rovers player down,a Utd player kicked it out. Then when they were meant to give the ball back they kicked it out for a throw in and pushed up for the throw in.
The rovers player DID see O'Donnell down but kept on going,i know he doesnt have to put it out but it was unsporting not to.
I assume Shamrock Rovers will get fined for the 3 flares on the pitch.
Some things never change, the most controversial game of the season is ALWAYS vrs Shamrock Rovers, closely followed by games vrs Bohs.
Fair play to Rovers for bringing 2/300 down,i met some out after who are making a full weekend of it.

Ah don't worry theres plenty more to justify those terms.
