I'm not criticising ye, I just don't think ye were anything special. I didn't know that about your defence being injured etc. Agreed that ye walked over us in midfield, that's why I suggested that John Lester has to start for us coz our midfield was a lot stronger in the 2nd half when he came on.
Was our defence not our only weakness? I thought in midfield and up front we were very strong and would have beaten anyone on the basis of that performance if we had our defence at full-strength.

Your midfield was good, as I already said, but they didn't dominate as much when we brought Lester on. Up front, meh, they were nothing special imo. Our number 4 (Tyrell) is a decent defender, but lacks pace. First time I saw him play centre back was last night, should be put back to right back imo. Ye kept firing balls over his head and it worked well for ye, with ye're 4th goal coming from that. I still stand by my comment that ye didn't impress me a huge amount and that we gifted ye 4 of the 5 goals.

mons go 1 up in Wexford through Barry Clancy. There will be a delay in updates as am having to get them from text messages from people at the game as there is no electricity in the ground for our reporter to plug in her laptop to update here or anywhere else live.

not quiet sure about that as there was power in the ground as our PRO had his laptop in the complex maybe there was an issue with the setup outside but def ok inside.

on the game Wexford where very poor one tactic pump the ball long and hope the pace of sheenan and furlong who get on to end of something the few times did get the ball down and passed it looked a bit better. the goal came from mainly very poor defending from wexford. monaghan looked a strong enough side and if can get all back from injuries (as i was told have a few) then should do ok this year
