I'm going for Waterford again, 1/2 (Will Hill) away to Salthill Devon on Saturday. The record of each team is the inverse of the other, with W'ford having won 3 out of 3, scored 6, conceded 0, and Salthill lost 3, scored none and conceded 6.
Price isn't great but it's the most solid thing going this weekend.
Depending on prices, I might also look at laying a currently-awful Shamrock Rovers.

Should be buying money at 1/2 there!
I saw Salthill in their first two senior games and they look decent at times. They show little or no ambition though and are content to sit back and hope for the best. They will pick up the odd draw though, as they're compact and hard to break down until you get the first goal.

Anyone else getting involved this week?
RR, you got your eye on anyone?
Tricky enough week tbh. Tempted to pile into waterford but don't trust first division teams away form home

Yeah not much to get excited about this weekend although I think Derry should be comfortable enough at home to Athlone.

Athlone, who held Cork, who in turn drew with Derry?

Having a punt on Finn Harps myself. They impressed me on the opening day and we were lucky to beat them. They've won their next 2 games without conceding. According to reports, we should have been 2 or 3 up by half time last week in Limerick and then fell apart in the 2nd half. I fancy Harps to take this one though. 2 pts at 5/4.

Yes the same Athlone that are missing a few first teamers tonight.

Ah, that might affect things alright.
Very very tempted by us against Bray at 4/7 tonight with PP. I imagine Bray will be similar to Drogheda, whom we tore through. But then I imagine jinxes and all sorts of nonsense stuff...

Waterford United gone 1/4 with PP and 4/11 with WH now v Salthill tomorrow.
Had a small bet from my online account with PP on Waterford United -1 at EVS

Just doing a WUFC, Foras, and Spurs treble @ 13/8.
Not really betting much anymore, have got very bored of it. When I win I feel nothing and when I lose I feel nothing - it ain't what it use to be for me....

Going for a Fingal and UCD double and a Waterford single myself.

When did PP stop doing first goalscorer/anytime scorer markets for the First Division?
Anyway, I've got 2pts on Derry and 1.5pts on UCD and Cork. Bohs/Fingal double is tempting me as well.

BOOM! +2.6pts. :)
Athlone, who held Cork, who in turn drew with Derry?
I'm sure I'd be able to use the same line of thought that would make UCD a sure thing to win the Champions League.

Waterford-1@evs looks like free money. They've covered the handicap twice so far this season and Salthill the same reversed. 2pts staked and might still go in for more.

Yeah Waterford -1@evs is a great bet imo. I've a few bob on it anyways!

I never do handicaps anymore but missed 1/2 on Waterford (1/3 was the price) so went looking for value...Sod's Law that they don't cover the handicap with their easiest game of the season, plus the penalty decision. HT/FT would have been a better bet in hindsight.
Anyway, after the first month of the season:
Number of bets placed: 12
Number of winning bets: 7
Total staked: 20.5pts
Profit/Loss: 4.60pts
ROI: 22%
Nothing special, but decent all the same.

I'm in on Bohs tonight at 9/20. Should come through fairly easily. 1/2 point.
