View Full Version : Lucky Escape?
See the Alan Murphy fee was set at €22,000. On top of his wages, we had a lucky escape (whatever the circumstances).
He may turn out to be a great player, but at this stage he's not worth that...

where did you sign him from macy ??
Nah, we didn't sign him... He was from Galway, gone to Derry (see the bitch fight further down the board for reasons/spin)...
It's not the Alan Murphy who plays full back for us now.

that money for a player unproven in the premier is a big risk, glad the club didn't take it, keegan and baker have bee there and won the league...we need more experience like them, btw keegan was impressive on monday and in pre season so i take back all i said about him before i seen him in our colours......

It's about half of what we're supposed to get from $hels for Cawley. :)

Cawley would have been worth it. Murphy demanded big money too.

And less than half of what Galway were demanding, and he'd been there over 6 years!
