A wee bit off-topic, but apparently Mbabazi is playing in Vietnam now, having recovered from his health problems enough toget back in the game

according to the daily mail today there is an issue with getting n'do clearance to play. something to do with the appropriate government department having to reissue work permit. hopefully it will not delay josephs n'do appearance in a red /white shirt to long. anybody have any up to date news on this. it would be a shame if he did'nt play against drogs.

If its the same lazy work to rule feckers that issue the passports we will be lucky to see him before September.

Its not. Its completely seperate, and its not a "re-issue", its a completely new Work Permit appplication.

Rumour mill is now open concerning Ndo.

If what i heard today is true then be prepared for some shocking news ....any team connected with him in the PAST may be in a spot of bother, but then again they all happen to be from you know where.

He was hoping to represent the Cameroon at the World Cup until the start of this season so I doubt he's been looking for Irish citizenship. Plus I don't know if you seen how difficult it has to get an Irish passport of late. :)

yes new work pemit is needed for each club

He can apply to become a Naturalised Irish citizen after living and working here for 5 years (which he has done) but the process takes up to 18 months

He would not have to denounce his Cameroon citizenship to obtain Irish citizenship too, so he could still play for them. The fact he hasn't been involved with them for 8 years probably indicates he hasn't a hope f being called up

there was a piece in todays mail about him.. I believe that there is a hitch with the transfer as the authorities were never notified that Ndo was playin for Bohs last season.. According to them Pats were his last club.. He could face severe sanctions as a result of this.. there was even talk of a prison sentence for deception!

Presumably Bohs would then be docked 3 points for every game they played an ineligible player in

Ah, bog him into Loughan House - it'll be cheaper than keeping him in Sligo.

Doubt bohs didnt resign Ndo on the basis of a work permit,
more so because he declined their initial offer to try his luck in Belgium, that didnt work out.
He came back and they werent interested anymore.
Anyways bohs are the reason there is a problem.
If they done things by the book in the first place there would be no problem now.

Don't worry - the FAI will find a way to lay the entire blame at our door.

The fairest outcome would be to deduct six points from us and give them to Shams so that they can challenge for the league

Joseph N'do has been registered as a Sligo Rovers player with the FAI and could make his debut for the club this weekend.
N'do agreed to join the Bit o' Red four weeks ago as a free agent but the move was delayed over issues with the player's registration due to complications arising from spells with former League of Ireland clubs.
The necessary paperwork has now been complete and N'do will be in the squad to face St Patrick's Athletic on Friday night, live on RTÉ Two television.

With the FAI having issued stern warnings to Rovers over the Turner affair, it'll be interesting to see what course this takes, following the allegations that there were irregularities over Ndo's time with at least one of his former clubs. I won't be holding my breath, though.
