It's out elsewhere (http://www.tubbritt.net/), so it's safe to announce it here too. Colin O'Brien has joined Waterford on a three month loan.

BTW, does this means that the two spice boys will be in action at St. Colman's Park this weekend when Cobh take on Waterford?

IMO no great loss, but NO way would I have done it

ever since his injury Colin hasnt been the same
does leave us even more stuck for a right winger though?

More tactical genius from gunther
Lets sell off all the players we have to playon the right wing..tynan and colin...

UNbelievable

Hopefully he'll regain his old form down there, and return to us sooner rathar than later. A good player, and another that seems to be suffering under Gunther.

dont think he'll return while gunther is there though!

According to sports.com (http://www.sports.com/irl/football/news/2001/10/22/sIRL01MTAwMzc2NTgyMzI.html) he's been called up to the Irish U-19 squad!

I only said the club should loan out more squad members yesterday & the club have started already ;)

I don't think Colin has been out of favour since Gunthers arrival, meerly he just hasn't regained his past form. At the moment he just isn't good enough for even the bench unfortunately.

Gunther seems to be grooming Bucks for the right midfield role which IMo kelvin has been going well at in his own particular style.

It's not a bad idea to leave him go to Waterford for a bit. He might get more competitive games their and that would benefit his form.

Ah but they could have put him on loan to a better team in the 1st division.Wterford are shockingly bad.there is a gulf in difference between the two leagues and i dont thimk that the likes of waterford etc can help anybody tryiung to get back into a team like cork city

Maybe it's because Colin works in the Munster region, so Waterford is handy? Or, ccfcman, would you think it better for Colin to be loaned to Finn Harps in Donegal who are top of the First Division?
