Bray@7/4- 20 pts to finish bottom of the Premier, as close to a guaranteed winner as you can get in betting.

I'm dying to lump on myself but with the chances of another club getting docked points - no thanks.

Spot on Raheny, although I do think that even with a points deduction, all bar 2/3 would finish ahead of Bray

That's my only worry myself. I've just put 4 pts on them myself. Hopefully there's no asterix's this year! :o

I don't think it's that clear cut - they'll sign a few more players and be competitive. They've already added Richie Baker and Robbie Doyle who look like better signings than any of the journeymen Drogheda signed. I know UCD did really well last season but they've only signed a crocked player from Galway and have lost their most influential player.

Agree with JC_GUFC.

Bray should have a bit of money to strengthen their squad. My tip for relegation at the prices offered would be Galway. Take away a few of the more known names from the Galway midfield and the Galway squad looks very weak.

We know ;)

BTW I love the fact that Bohs are lower odds than Rovers to finish bottom. The power of the asterisk!!

We've signed a couple of others too - the Irish futsal captain who's ex-Rovers, for example - but you never hear about them (and even if you have, no-one ever has any idea what to make of them). It's usually a mistake to dismiss UCD cos we've signed no-one.

(Not that I'm under any illusions about the season ahead; would be perfectly happy with seventh and safety).

Galway at 13/2 looks worth a small punt.

Absolutely - I'm surprised there haven't been any complaints! If it was a relegation market they'd probably be odds on! ;)

UCD are just a pretty unknown quantity, which suits them, but they definitely do have the potential to struggle if they get off to a bad start, on the other hand if they can cope with Ronan Finn's loss they've the potential to finish 6th or 7th - they well ahead of Fingal last season!

I'd agree that they've favourites but no way would I be putting 20 points on it!

Will be interesting to see what last night did to those odds.
