Boyles site is down so can't see their prices at the moment.

I can't see it being anybody other than Twigg, I can't see Byrne scoring as much from play this season and was reliant on penalties to appear close to Twigg last season in the scoring charts. Rovers are stronger this season too so I expect that the team will have more goals anyway, which should result in more for Twigg.

Padraic Amond at 33/1 anyone? Always seemed to score whenever he got a game for Rovers, which wasn't very often. Now that he will probably be a regular for Sligo, and with a decent target man beside him in Blinkhorn, I think he could be the value bet.

I was going to post exactly that about Amond. Twigg is already struggling with injury and won't get near as many as last season, I'm expecting a surprise to emerge from the pack and Amond looks like great value.

Really? Feck, that really opens things up now.

Amond is a great shout- doesn't look he did much with only 4 goals in 20 games (8 starts; 12 sub appearances) last season but he didn't feature much. Total time on the pitch amount to just under 8 full games so perhaps it's not as bad as it seems.

9 goals in 27 the previous season.

What about Madden? Looks like he'll be getting a lot of games this season and has been scoring in pre-season.

Stuck a sly fiver on Vinny faherty. had in lying in an account. Think Williams for us will eb up there but can't back at 10s

I really wanted to back Madden myself but I think 16s is tad too short. If he was the main man with Jayo then I'd back it but with Cretaro and Quigley there now I can't be backing him.

To say I'm sickened is an understatement. He's still 4 goals clear, but I'll be shocked if Twigg doesn't overtake him, especially considering his ban was overturned today.
