According to the programme for Saturday's Leinster Senior Cup game (double issue with the Rovers Celtic friendly, probably not woth the €3 for Youths fans as it only has a bit about Youths from the club website and the squad list).

Lee Aust
John Byrne
David Breen
Dean Broaders
Warren Broaders
Robert Dempsey
Shane Dempsey
Patrick Doyle
Danny Furlong
Christopher Kenny
Jimmy Keohane
Martin Kehoe
Patrick Holden
Paul Malone
Aidan McCann
Muzzi Mullen
Kevin Rowe
Anthony Russell
Gary Sheahan
Shane Sinnott
Anthony Wolfe
Gareth Wallace

Starting team along the lines of:
Holden
??? Breen Russell ???
D Broaders Malone S Dempsey Keohane
Sheahan Furlong

Is that likely to be the regular squad? Any obvious ones left out?

sqaud looks about right to be honest cannot think of anyone glaring obvious exepct maybe the other players on trail not sure when the closing date if for the squad though

Holden
Russell Breen Wolfe/McCann Wolfe/ w.Broaders/Kenny
D Broaders Malone/Wolfe S Dempsey Keohane/Aust
Sheahan Furlong

the reason i have Wolfe in some many places is he has played in them all to date. Russell has not played in the middle in any pre season so i would say staying where he was last year

Passing,

Could add Tiernan Rossiter, James Cogley and Gareth McCurtain to that list - all three have been at the pre-season matches. Two others possibilities would be Conor Wallace and Paul Rossiter. Like Youths for Ever, I would see Anto Russell starting right-full with Wolfie at centre-half. Left-full could be Cogley, Kenny, Warren or Dean Broaders or McCurtain if fit. I would have Dean at left side of mid, particularly against Rovers - seems to have good defensive ability. He moved to left-full against Cork and looked fine. Would start Jimmy Keohane at right-side of midfield and leave him there for the season so that he can get used to one position.

Huge season this year for Danny Furlong and Shane Dempsey. Danny has to make the step up from being a brilliant u-18 player. Shane has to fill Conor's shoes. Gary Sheahan looks like lightning in the pre-season and, if he stays fit, I think we'll be solid mid-table.

Thanks lads. Looking forward to seeing how things are shaping up. Very few games in Dublin this season so I'll have to try make it down to a couple of home games. First division looks stronger than ever this season so it'll be a real challenge, anything above 8th would be a decent achievement.
