from the Irish Times:

.............. But Limerick’s licence application was subsequently made by a different company, Munster Football Club Ltd.

A spokesman for the club said that this was done because nobody would agree to become a second director of LTSFC and this threatened to fatally undermine any licence application it made. O’Sullivan and a member of his family are the only registered directors of the new company.

So basically by the end of the article they are saying nothing wrong has gone on and McCarthy will be paid his money. What more can happen here in a legal sense? McCarthy just seems to be upset he is not involved anymore (which i thought was the case for months now)

This thread nearly deserves the Jaws theme playing in the background, "just when you though it was safe to get back into the League of Ireland..."

Although reading the article it looks like what they did is probably OK, just a bit questionable as to how they went about it.

It came about because Pat o Sullivan took over the club and was told to liquidate the company by the man that tried to wind the club up and hasnt put money in to the club in 2 years now the bitter little yank wants attention.
