On the first paragraph- I never said that it did.

LOL at the idea of Harps fans complaining loudly about the demise of Derry City.

Well you's are complaining that you's are only having one home game against us so putting 2 & 2 together AN Mouse has a point.

Is one huge home gate not better than the usual 2 away fans you might have got had it been Kildare and not Derry city?

This works both ways. If you want to say' but we played at the brandywell twice last time', then well that was two years ago and makes no difference to how this season's fixtures were worked out!

Aww didums. If there was no Derry team this year we all know who'd be on here complaining the loudest. I'd imagine it'd go something like this - It's a disgrace that fai let the muckers just disappear, how are we going to get a decent gate now? Maybe some of the derry wans will support us, like they did last time they had no team, and we can get the derry based players. FFS none of the muckers are coming to finn kip. Fecking stute/sligo/il teams taking all the best derry based players

Stupid statement. We all want Derrry and Cork in the league, just don't want the rules twisted at every opportunity to keep them there!

IS there any hope that televised games will not be on a Friday night? Please, please please have a little sense FAI/RTE/TG4....

If only they had some sense! I don't see the point in showing a live tv game at the same time as all the other games. Nothing surprises me in this league though!

19 FEBRUARY 2010: LOUTH DERBY TO BE BROADCAST LIVE ON RTÉ

The Louth Derby between Dundalk and Drogheda United will be broadcast live from Oriel Park on RTÉ Television, and as a result has been put back almost 48 hours to Sunday 14 March, with a 4.30pm kick-off. It will be the first time that the Louth Derby has featured live on national TV since August 2005 when the sides met in the FAI Cup Fourth Round, that game coinciding with the opening of the Lilywhites’ artificial surface.

Rovers change
Ian Foster’s new-look side will also be live on RTÉ seven days later when they travel to face Shamrock Rovers at Tallaght Stadium, a game which has also changed from the original date set, which was Friday 19 March. Instead, Dundalk will make the trip to Dublin on Sunday 21 March, with the match due to kick-off at 3.45pm. Dundalk only featured live once on RTÉ last year, when they hosted Bohemians on the opening day of the season, although it was one of five live TV games for the club.
