when is the draw done for the EA SPORTS Cup Preliminary Round or what is the story with the divisional cup? is it an open draw between the 2 divisions?

The EA Cup is usually regional at the start - it's Dynamos first year, but in the past Kerry have played Limerick, Cobh and Cork in opening rounds. Only know about this A cup from Dynamos site, supposed to be groups of 4 who play each other twice, but didn't mention how the knockouts would work.

Only know about this A cup from Dynamos site, supposed to be groups of 4 who play each other twice, but didn't mention how the knockouts would work.Were ye not in it last year? The first 2 rounds of it are regionalised iirc. We lost to Finn Harps who went on to play Sligo in the next round.
