Dundalk and Sligo raise curtain
Sligo Rovers make the journey to the north-east tonight (Thursday) to face Dundalk to kick off the 2004 eircom League season, with both sides and sets of supporters possessing renewed optimism that this could be the year they bridge the gap back to the Premier Division.
The Lilywhites have been domiciled in the league’s second tier for the past two seasons, in both of which they have finished in the bottom four of the table.
