Its in dublin rovers1. 44 bus from ranelagh or luas and taxi.

Yep it's in Dublin but much closer to Bray than Dublin City Centre, but no buses go from Bray so grabbing a bus is your best option, it's in Kilternan so probably take abou 30/40 minutes i reckon

Could you give us directions Roo? From the Dart station?

EDIT: Ignore that, game's in Dublin.

Think Jeebus and Darco live down that direction they might be able to advise on transport / pre-match venues.

The 63 will get you from the city centre to Kilternan - http://www.dublinbus.ie/en/Your-Journey1/Timetables/All-Timetables/63/

The only pre match venue around is the Golden Ball (Palmers), nice pub with good food. About a 5 minute walk away i'd say.

Wanderers new look team were beaten 1-0 by Sligo Rovers in the first of their pre-season friendly today in Kilternan.

The Seagulls played very well in the first half and went in scoreless at the interval.

Sligo Rovers changed their entire team in the second half as well as the colour of their jerseys and dominated for long periods as Wanderers made a number of changes

Their winning goal came after 70 minutes of the second half when former Seagull, Gary McCabe, was taken down outside the 18 yard line and Richie Ryan curled the free kick into the top corner. Links:

Quiet enough first half. Richie Ryan ran the game second half. Amond looked decent when he came on. Trialist from Crewe came on, did fairly well. John Dillon was his name. Teams are on Twitter.

All the Richie "fans" on here will love to hear that!!

The standard from both sides was decent enough considering it the 1st game of pre season. Sligo started the game quite physical and i reckon if it had of been a competitive they would have picked up a few bookings in the first 5 minutes.

Really good squad you have now and i'll be shocked if your not in the top 5/6 at the end of the season. I was impressed in particular with the right full and right winger in the 1st half. Little scouse lad played up front as well in the 1stb half and he had some nice touches and created space well for him self.

I thought we brough a bit to the game as well and created some decent chances in the 1st half, Brush made one absolutely top quality save to keep it 0-0 at half time. Sligo changed their whole side at half time and it kind of knocked Bray out of kilter a little. Ryan scored a humdinger of a free kick, but it was never a free to begin with but sure it's only pre season, we won't worry to much about it now ;)

All the best for the new season and i genuinely hope you have a great season.

Can't have done much for Rovers' cohesion either . . .
