Dynamos' KDL future

It's a worrying development that Dynamos have failed to enter the KO Cup for the first time ever. The junior team may be struggling, but it would definitely be a backward step if the decision was ever taken to pull out of the KDL. Any future success probably depends on maintaining strong links with all levels of the game in Kerry.

Once the kids/underage structure is kept going in the KDL it's not an issue

If their focus is going to be more on the national stage in the coming years, you can't expect them to take on local competitions on top of MSl competitions and National competitions just for the sake of it.

Dont get me wrong but isnt the reason dynamos went alone to enter the eircom league is coz the KDL had no intentions to and dynamos have ambition. Dynamos have no B team and struggle to get 12 13 players each junior game and with no disrespect to them are beaten for fun in the premier A. The KDL will not want to see dynamos do well in the EL so i think its best for dynamos to get rid of the KDL tag and pull out their junior team and move on.
