80s synth-pop is very much in vogue at the minute, what with seemingly every second act tipping the nod back to 30-odd years ago. From Hot Chip to Neon Neon, Cut Copy to MGMT, Calvin Harris to The Killers, or Little Boots to the inexplicably popular La Roux, they're all at it.
Time for another youtube pillage? :)

Post up your favourite synth pop classics so, try not to go for the really obvious ones though, something we mightn't have seen before instead, and ideally a performance clip or video if there's a decent one.
I've always preferred the earlier, rawer efforts, dunno why, they show something or other no doubt, so...

Jaysus I love synths, good man.

I'll throw two out for now, early ones as preferred, fairly underground it's fair to say, and two good amusing 80s videos. Should be satisfactory. :)

Not 80s, but 80s-influenced - Mesh. This band absolutely rules.
