After seeing the good response to the non-working manager, who would you not want to see arrive at your club?

The normal hit list will come up, but I thought about this when reading the other thread, for me I'd flip the lid seeing Trevor Anderson coming near Dundalk again, less so Jim Gannon.

Has to be shoddy, everywhere he goes, they get relegated, left in a financial mess and he gets either sacked or walks out to avaoid taking the blame!

If you asked me 3 years ago I'd have said:

Roddy, Doolin and Mathews :D

Gavin Dykes, Patsy "the rigger" McGowan, Paul Hegarty and Dermott Keeley and that's just the one's we have already had in the past.

Bar Fenlon and O'Neill I wouldn't like any of the managers currently managing in the league or associated in the league at Bohs.

Hire either Shoddy or Sean Connor and cue mayhem! Still, it might keep them off the MNS couch!

Fenlon and O'Neill are top managers alright but I think Paul Cook is also one of the better ones in the league.

Roddy would be the worst thing to happen to a club. I bet if this was a forum for Roddy Collins house, and the only person that posted was his wife and this thread was "What manager would you NOT want to see arrive at your dinner table tonight?" the answer would be Roddy.

Bit harsh? As much as the "Kenna era" (all 6 months of it) was agonisingly awful, I think I'd commit harakiri if Roddy stepped foot in Inchicore as our manager. Thankfully I think our board has more than enough sense than to go there. We can turn around lunatic players, but managers are out on their own, very hard to control once you get them into the club.

Read my post again, taking careful note of the reason why I wouldn't want to see him in Terryland.

Exactly...we have gone through all this on another thread....this thread asked who we wouldnt want managing our team and we our entitled to say whoever we like...a couple of us said Michael O' Neill because we dont like him..simple enough..is that ok BYTCWD??

In my opinion Cook is one of the most honest managers in the league and calls it how it is..but i totally understand other fans from other clubs can have different, sometimes negative opinions of him and i accept that as they are entitled to them and im not childish enough to argue with somebodys opinion because i dont agree with it...some people should learn that:)

Personally, Cook is my favorite manager in the league. Encourages good football, is brutally honest and is a fantastic character rather than the embarrasment that Roddy is....who would be my answer to this thread.

Roddy Collins arriving at Cork City FC was something I honestly thought would never happen. I thought after the Shams and Dublin City shenanigans and the cringe inducing way he performs in the media, no one would ever employ him again in this league and it would move forwards, but there ya go, if you ever needed any further proof of just how much damage Coughlan is doing, not just to CCFC but the league, there it is in one appointment.

Shoddy would be the main one.

There'd be few I'd worry about more because of the club rather than the manager per se - for example Nutsy isn't really a bad manager, but if he came to us it'd mean we'd have a stupid (unaffordable) budget.
