I had a dream last night that I lived in Monaghan, but supported Galway United, and that RTÉ found this interesting enough to make a programme about me.

Anyone else have any mad dreams featuring the LOI?

(I know this is a ridiculous post, quiet time seems to be having an adverse affect on my mental health. I even went to watch Hibs play yesterday!)

I'm not having dreams..I'm having a recurring nightmare, featuring Tommy "No Bobs" Coughlan & Roddy "Bluffer" Collins.

You have found your true spirtual home, Monaghan, now all we have to do is kick the Galway United outta ya and we are sorted. :D

I have had dreams where our whole team have arrived at my house and I even got out of bed and opened the front door in my sleep to let them in. :o

In the lead up to the League Cup final I kept having the same dream every night that we beat Bohs 2-1. With Bohs taking the lead after 1 minute after a free kick by Brennan. Then after 85 more minutes of torture from Bohs, David Grincell knicked and equaliser with a scramble in the box from about 4 yards and in injury time the same player got taking down in the box and Vinny Sullivan dispatched the Peno!

Fair to say I wasn't overly dissapointed when Brennan but Bohs 1-0 early on with a free kick. Don't know what happened to the rest of it though haha

Dreamt last night that I was playing for Munster in Thomond Park in the Heineken Cup. I rarely have dreams though, and when I do I don't usually remember them.

My dreams usually don't involve football, it's usually something involving Angelina Jolie, Beyonce and yours truely.

What position does she play ?

What position does she play ?
Poor old Angelina. Her versatility and willingness to play in any position, has lead to her being perceived as a utility type player in many different dreams, seldom getting accustomed to one position, before being rudely shunted to a new one. It would be fair to say that, regardless of her undoubted ability, she tends to suck at some point in most dreams...

I had a dream last night [during the two hours of sleep I got] that Joe Gamble got called up to the Irish Senior Side as a result of signing for Hartlepool, even though he hadn't yet played for them. In the dream I was planning to do a Maxi before I was rudely interrupted.

Two years ago, that wouldn't have been a dream.

I had a dream that John Delaney has requested that the Rep of Ireland should be allowed enter the African Nations Cup to replace Togo.

He reckons we qualify by the amount of Nigerians that have entered the country.

Please let it be only a bad dream??

Going by what you've said about some players in the past surely the dream would be you arriving at their house and getting into bed rather than out? And opening...actually no, won't go down that road.

You could also have highlighted the part where he said he was living in Monaghan ;)

I haven't had any dreams that I remember right now, but I know I have had dreams where I've been at the Carlisle for a match, but the dream always takes off in another direction and nothing of note happens on the pitch.. so at least I keep it realistic

I had a dream last night we were away to Rovers in Tallaght, me and a few mates were getting the bus there.
Then we were outside the ground which was full of mullet heads with thick Dub accents.
We got in a realised there was only the away section built as the rest of the ground had been burned down the night before.
So all Rovers fans were standing or sitting in the grass while the 100+ strong Bray crowd were in the leftover away section, singing our hearts out when suddenly the away section came to life and started flying around the place...

lol, now what kind of cheese was i eating?

I just think he is crackers.

I dreamt last night that I was in a niteclub in Monaghan and our team were there, I asked them if they had gotten in free and they said they had, so I gave out to them for using up our sponsorship for socialising purposes. See I even work in my sleep.

In the past week I've dreamt that I've been hanging out with Lily Allen (and didn't try anything on ) and was asked directions to UL by a Roma and told them where the bus stop is to get out there (TV - imagination - something something) and once I had a dream that I was trying to save the world from Unicron (of Transformers fame) with the help of S Club 7 but even I think dreaming of living in Monaghan and supporting Galway is a bit off

I had a dream, shortly after coming back from Berlin, that Pats were back in the Olympic Stadium for a re-match with Hertha, only instead of our 2008 team, we brought our 1998 team. They were training the night before and I was pitchside watching how things went on. Molloy and Gilzean were taking shots on goal while Colin Hawkins was giving me a commentary on preparations (why he wasn't training himself, I have no idea) and telling me that "we'll do better than that lot did". (A bit harsh even if the '98 team did win two Leagues in a row.;)) Cue them losing 3-0 the following day and Johnny Mac screaming from the sidelines "What did I tell you, my team did better" :D :p

I had a dream that I was a single player against a whole team of women. They were many, but I had the advantage of being the only one with my clothes on. It was awful, every time they scored a goal, they went to punish me :)

Now how come you have dreams like that, and I have dreams about living n Monaghan?! This doesn't seem fair!

Hmmm

1) Why did you keep your clothes on ?

2) I suppose you let goals in galore and even scored a few own goals when they got tired. Correct ?

I tend to get killed in my dreams quite a bit. Executed by gunmen and what not. Fecking weird stuff.

As hard as I try, I struggle to dream about sexing it up with home hollywood celeb.

Mine are all mixed up ...current people...............people I have not seen for ages ............ weird circumstances ... some would make great stories/film ....... if I could remember them !

I did remember one well enough to make it part of my speech at my Son's wedding.

It was topical because his wedding was only two weeks away and I dreamt I died but did not realise I was dead at first and tried like hell to get back "home" because I had to go to his wedding (and make a speech of course) !

1) It was cold, I had to keep my referee warm, so he could be up in action to blow his whistle when the punishments arrived :D

2) I let them score, but not too much. I had to keep my form till the injury time  Then the referee jumped to give them some penalties and they were finished :ball:

So.............the ref was naked ?
