Watched Stephen Carr play V Man Utd today, and he's been part of all things good at Birmingham this season. I think we could really have used him in WC campaign. He can still do a job, but is on wrong side of age for new campaign. Club captain at Birmingham, and playing really well.

Clinton Morrisson scored today, and has maybe 10 this season, plays alongside Best, I like him!

Gary Deegan, made Coventry debut today, got 20 mins as sub, he can do well there I think. Westwood there too, so chance of being seen anyway!

Wesley Hoolahan, doing very well for Norwich, they are flying. One of the big clubs in League 1 and will be promoted. He set up thier 3rd goal today, and is a very good player.

Keith Fahey came on for Birmingham, big test for him to break into team full time. Lee Carsley would have moved in January window, but he's injured.

Some Irish players need to transfer, Darryl Murphy and Roy O'Donovan, Jay O'Shea might benefit from a loan?

Brian Murphy & James McCarthy will be hoping for a good new year, James is off to a flyer.

Anyone see Micahel Doyle V Man Utd for Leeds? 1 Cap to his name, Leeds a sure thing to get promoted!

Saw Simon Cox play V Forest last night, he's 21 and has scored a lot of goals, will he and Jamie O'Hara declare for us? And what about Barry Maguire? The Irish/Dutch player who wass called up for, and then opted out of Ireland U21's. Highly thought of in Dutch league.

Best of luck to Stephen O'Flynn, Gary Dempsey & Tadgh Purcell on recent moves!

Don't see Doyle breaking into midfield, despite having a good game against United. He was a bit of a terrier.

The flip side of that is that Gibson seems to have been made a scapegoat for the defeat alongside Berbatov.

Goalkeeper wise, wouldn't mind seeing Colin Doyle moving on to get some game time, he's 3rd in the pecking order and if they don't get Joe Hart on a permanent deal then they'll move for someone else.

Trap needs to send someone to watch Hibs, they're turning into the new Reading with the amount of Irish talent they have on show.

We need a B international in the next few months.

There are probably 10-15 players who currently have had little squad time to date currently playing regular football who could benefit from this.

Jay Tabb? Is that the Coventry winger.

Watched Ipswich today, liked John Walters. Team captain and has scored lots of goals.

Stokes is scoring again in SPL, watch Hibs come 3rd this season, Liam Miller is also there, as is sub-keeper Stack.

Brian Murphy due to be on bench today, but injured in warm-up!

David Bell. Born in Kettering, but I remember him playing for the U-20s in the 2003 World Youth Cup. Alongside Stephen Kelly, Wayne Henderson, Paddy McCarthy, Willo Flood, Glenn Whelan, Keith Fahey, Stephen Elliott and Kevin Doyle, among others. Decent team, that.
