Good point. It's interesting that so many loyal Trappistas are the same people who dont want 2nd or 3rd G mercenaries sullying the sacred shirt.

True however it's great to know that it's down to Trap to decide who should wear the Irish jersey & not to these ''Trappistas''.

PS. It's also good to know that the FAI are confident in keeping Trap.

Well then he should fire his agent for speaking out of turn.
And we all know how that will go.

According to BBC football news today Trapattoni is interested in the Nigerian job after turning down the Ivory Coast.

I say let him manage Nigeria at the World Cup and then come back for for the Euro qualifiers.

balls to that. He has a full time job at Ireland with plenty of scouting to do before we commence the Euro campaign. If he wants to manage Nigeria at the WC then good luck to him. I would understand.

Maybe Trap realizes that he is loved here and that in terms of following we are one of the best supported teams home and abroad - who else gets 60,000 to turn up for dead rubber games like Cyprus and Montenegro in previous campaigns. And pay exorbitant prices for the privilege - stating the bleedin obvious here, I know.
