Hey,

just wondering has anyone ever been to Coachella Music Festival in Palm Springs before? It takes place every April and marks the beginning of the festival season in North America.

I booked flights and bought tickets for myself and herself this week but just wondering if anyone has ever been and what it is like? What sort of buzz, atmosphere, campgrounds etc

Theres enough in the confirmed section already that made my decision easier! Now even if only FNM, Pumpkins, Gorillaz and Pavement confirmed id be more than happy...

I've never been there myself but I've heard from people who've gone that its a great festival, always has a great lineup but they are very strict on alcohol and people acting like morons -> (that is probably very good thing if you hate the ****wittery that goes on at festivals like Oxegen)

Can't add anymore to that

them Crooked Vultures - have seen them 4 times and are amazing live, album is dull but live they are class..

I would also try and see The Dillinger Escape Plan, patton could easily make an appearance with them.

Yeasayer - just check if Mark Lannigan is gonna be with them

2 many Dj's on the sat is a must see. Coheed & Cambria are ok if you can stand your mans voice...

Little Boots on the sunday.

Overall though its a solid line up,

Might be going to this myself actually. Have a wedding in Vegas on the 15th April and I think it's relatively close to there.
