Hi, a friend of mine is looking to register but he is not allowed to post yet. What is the situation with this? If I remember correct when I registered I was good to go. Does he have to be approved or something?

You have to confirm your account if I remember correctly. Tell him check the e-mail inbox/spam folder he used to sign up for an e-mail from foot.ie.
