Just remembered now that this happened days ago and hasn't been mentioned here strangely! What are people thinking? Personally, after all the similar stories that have turned out to be fabrications in the recent past I'm adopting a far more 'wait and see' style stance this time out. My gut says that it's a load of bull to be honest (though the fact remains that Keith Gillespie is a clown).

"Wait and See" is my approach as well. Wouldn't be surprised, but then why wait until their just about to board their plane home to report it?

Don't know, different legal system different rules. Same allegations in UK/Ireland they wouldn't have been remanded.

yeah i agree ive nothing to go on, its just their body language when you see them on tv.they just look like the way a guilty person normally behaves.they dont have a great track record there either(in spain)

if they are innocent then i pity them the treatment three rich english footballers accused of rape will receive in a spanish prison.

I think, once again, its all a load of bull.

First 10 were accused, then 6, now 3. The girls were fine, allegedly, until they found out who the guys were, and creid wolf. I would be very surprised if there was anything but consensual sex.

And if thats the case, the 3 women should serve the same sentence as what the guys would had they been found guilty.

Here here! I'm strongly in favour of that. They are innocent until proven guilty and I think the girls could just be looking for a quick buck but you never know.

Been following the case on TVE (Sky 835 for those that can understand Spanish) and in the on-line Spanish press. Seems that there is some hard evidence this time. Still this is all subjudice, so sshhhhhhh.;)

However on Friday I was having a giggle at the TVE 2pm news as in addition it had a package on the English football in general. For those that can't speak Spanish it would have sounded like a sketch from the Fast Show's Channel 9: Blah, blah, blah, roasting, blah, blah, blah, Stan Collymore, blah, blah, muy borracho, blah, blah, dogging, blah, blah, Lee Bowyer, blah, blah, Jonathan Woodgate, blah blah, estúpido. It was hardly an endorsement of the average Premiership footballer.
