I was always allowed a present and a surprise from Santa, so here it goes: A good manager who will stay for more than a year, and Galway people to get up to Terryland and support United. Not sure which would be the more surprising

Clarity about the shape of the league next year and the year after. And about how the FAI are going about enforcing their own rules.

Diego Maradonna for Manager, the guys so nuts he would fit in nicely. Plus we would make a fortune out of selling Cigars from the Club Shop.

Baby as in 0-3months, 3-6months, 6-9months, 9-12months or 1-2years, 2-3years etc.

They were available from 1 year on last year alright, I don't know where you'd get them now though, online shop and club store are gone.

Oh and I'd like a new owner.
I'm hopeful that my present will be delivered a little earlier than the 25th ;)

:D

Indeed, but a 5 min walk to Tallaght stadium makes it a lot handier on a Friday night :D

I still see the Youths whenever they're up this way. I think I've expalined quite a few times before that I'm far from a hardcore supporter, more a lover of live football and a supporter of the League of Ireland in general.

What you should probably do is pick a username that reflects this in some way, then people wouldn't get so confused.

Isn't it stupid that the jerseys are launched in February when clubs could make a substantial amount of money by launching them pre-christmas?

I think in the GAA they launched the 2010 gear in November and are selling very good as a result of it being the time for Christmas shopping.

That's far too sensible an idea for this league.

Unfortunately, you need to tie up the sponsorship deals first for the season and the Sponsors generally seem to think they can hold out as long as possible due to the fact it's League of Ireland.

In GAA the Sponsor come to the County team, in LOI we have to chase around after sponsors.

To be fair Dundalk have less need of 11 players than most clubs :D

I don't believe in Santa so wrote to St Nutsey instead - 3rd title in a row, FAI Cup, SETANTA Cup all coming up. Asked for Champs Lge qualification as well but he thought I was a little greedy (didn't rule it out though ;))

So he's getting another huge budget in search of Champions League glory as well as every other competition?
Sounds familiar :p

As Sexist words go, I give it a 2 out of 10.
Now, if he were to say "me hoe" or "da beatch" or "the cook" I would have clicked the thanks button but my "ball and chain" would just think it was Christmas come early if she were to be referred to as Woman.
Now get me a nice cuppa there Woman.

Aw but you see Sam, it has nothing to do with being sexist or not, it just gave me a chance to slag a Dundalk fan and I never miss those opportunities if I can avoid it.
