With only a little over a week left for clubs to further strengthen their squads, 22 eircom League managers are putting the final touches to their squad, although one or two have a lot of work to do in the next eight days.

Still think we need a midfielder...
When is yer man Beezley fit again? Are we holding off til then?

Two other major signings were promised ....... nothing yet and less than 2 weeks to go.

Still aren't strong enough in midfield and now look weak at center half with Coughlan out for a while.

Not getting that warm fuzzy feeling I'm afraid.

Ahh we've loads of centre halfs.

We've got Dan, Benno and then back up in Kevin Murray, Lordan, Gurthrie, and Greg if he stays with us.

I dont think there is any limit on signing out of contract players like Beazley, someone said he had a bad back injury and would be out for 6 months.

Beezley fella us out for 6 months.

I get the impression Dolan doesn't consider Kevin murray a defender & doesn't have complete confidence in Benno.

I think you should sign another striker. You've only got John O'Flynn, O'Callaghan, Fenn, Doyle, Steve O'Flynn and a couple of other local lads...

Scrap the midfielders & we can play 5-0-5 formation. Will a defender to complete that though. ;)

Interesting to see that Paddy Power have John O'Flynn as second favourite for top scorer after Jason Byrne with Crowe 3rd.

If Dolan can't get us to score more goals this season won't be for lack of attacking options.

How about this for a line up on the 19th.........

.......

Keeper...... NONE

Center Half........Dan and Devine

Full Backs ......NONE

Midfield ....... Woodsie, Nwankwo, Kearney

Forwards........Doyler, Fenn, Georgie, S O'Flynn, J O'Flynn, Nolan

"All down to the end City are attacking":D

A few "hoof's" from Devine or Dan and we're off.

Ild encourage woods and kearney up the wings myself. more attacking options plus we need someone to supply the ball from the wings :D

Lordan is better in mid-field IMO.

yeah, I think we really need another midfielder and maybe a centre half as well. squad is shaping up nicely but we're still one or two players short.
