The following suspensions were issued by the Disciplinary Commission at their meeting of the 17.10.01 and will take effect in the week commencing Wednesday, 31st October, 2001.
RED CARD SUSPENSIONS
Jim Gannon (Shelbourne) After a Personal Hearing, the player is suspended for one
competitive game and fined £40.00. (Rovers V Shels – 26.9.01)
John Ryan (Dundalk) Suspended for one (1) competitive game as a result of being sent
off V Monaghan Utd. FC and fined £40.00
Donal Broughan (Dundalk) Suspended for two (2) competitive game as a result of being sent
off V Monaghan Utd. FC and fined £40.00
David Dunphy (Limerick) Suspended for one (1) competitive game as a result of being sent
off V Sligo Rovers FC and fined £40.00
Darren O’ Keefe (St Pat's) Suspended for two (2) competitive game as a result of being sent
off V UCD and fined £20.00 (Under 21 League)
Barry Hastings (Cobh R) Suspended for one (1) competitive game as a result of being sent
off V Cork City and fined £20.00 (Under 21 League)
Evan Creedon (Drogheda U) Suspended for three (3) competitive games as a result of
accumulating fourteen (14) penalty points and fined £30.00.
Tom Mohan (Finn Harps) Suspended for two (2) competitive games as a result of
accumulating eleven (11) penalty points and fined £30.00.
Pat Morley (Cork City) Suspended for one (1) competitive games as a result of
accumulating eight (8) penalty points and fined £20.00.
Mick Scully (Monaghan U) Suspended for one (1) competitive games as a result of
accumulating five (5) penalty points and fined £20.00.
Jason Kabia (Cobh R) Suspended for one (1) competitive games as a result of
accumulating five (5) penalty points and fined £20.00.
Mark Clifford (Cobh R) Suspended for one (1) competitive games as a result of
accumulating five (5) penalty points and fined £20.00.
Robert Farrell (Dublin City) Suspended for one (1) competitive games as a result of
accumulating five (5) penalty points and fined £20.00.
