The "Big Match" revisited

Was flicking through the channels last night and saw this on Men and Motors channel

classic stuff. Last night they showed Arsenal V Forest and Leeds v City from 14th Jan, 1979. It was around this time that I can actually remember starting to watch matches, though I have brief recollection of WC 78 and the 78 League Cup and FA Cup finals.Very nostalgic programme and great to look at top division matches in the mu, frost etc.

anybody else watch this series? I presume its on regularly?

yeh it's shown on ITV 4 as well - it's amazing the state of the pitches they played on - like bushy park on cold wet January - i often look at the standard though and wonder how many of these guys would make top flight footballers in today's world-
