Lads, the bottom line here is Bobby Ryan is a class act, and if at all possible Limerick should do what they have to do in order to get him signed up..............end of.

Yes, I totally agree. It shouldn matter if he ****ed off people a few years back with a few comments. A top player but in my opinion we prob wouldn't be able to afford him.

pretty old news, lots of dragging of heels in this debacle not by the player nor the club so it went flat. most if not all of the signings done at this stage imo

A lot of the names I recognise from the last couple years. Am a little concerned though that even our end of season form with Stevo was probably not good enough to go up...so not sure we are there yet, hopefully Scully can prove me wrong. Can't wait for the season to get going!:)

Fair point, as you seem to be unbiased. But I think towards the end of last year, there must have been a lack of motivation in the squad, because Steve's goals weren't worth anything, only a move away, but this year with Shane and Daryl on the wings and Jason and Sean in the centre, with Paddy and Declan holding the back solid, it's a much more compact side if we can just get that bloody striker. Now in fairness, Clarkey will get goals, there's no doubting that, but we need that extra something up top, someone like Steve, but there's still a good few out there, so lets not worry about having the best pre-season in years please. :D

He is strong and good player so if given a chance in the first team i don't see why not.
Has a good shot on him aswell, but for some reason i can't see him lasting the season,
alot of time and commitment needed so...hopefully i'm wrong tho.

Maybe if you learned how the site worked you would know that I didnt delete it coz I dont have the power to.

I read as much first division stuff as I can so I am not "always lurking" here but do happen to find what is happening with Lims quite interesting seeing as we will be playing against you next season and you look like you are putting together a good squad. You were one of our nearest rivals last year so that makes for even more of an interest in who is coming and going from your club. Your persecution complex is getting tiresome Monkfish.
