no Radiohead in the top 100 is a shock. Mr. Brightside no. 1? Hate that song.

I hate The Killers, one of the most over-rated bands ever, the only conclusion that can be drawn is that the list was voted for by 15 year old girls

It's a great tune but it's an amazingly mainstream list.

Radiohead haven't had any great singles for years. There, There and Knives Out weren't stand out tracks on their albums, never mind of the decade.

The Foo Fighter's Pretender being that high makes the list pretty obsolete in my opinion.

I think this lot deserved to figure somewhere in the top 100 anyway:

87. doves - black and white town
76. gorillaz - feel good inc.
48. oasis - the importance of being idle
43. doves - pounding
41. kings of leon - the bucket
36. kasabian - empire
32. arctic monkeys - when the sun goes down
26. doves - there goes the fear
24. arctic monkeys - fluorescent adolescent
17. coldplay - yellow
15. queens of the stone age - no one knows
12. franz ferdinand - take me out
8. the strokes - last nite
7. ian brown - f.e.a.r.
2. arctic monkeys - i bet you look good on the dancefloor

I have to agree thats a really poor choice for Number 1 and its a song that grates on me a little bit. I uess it comes down to personal taste but its certainly not one I'd even have in the top 50.

But then again it's my favourite song of the decade so for once a list agrees with me :D as you say it's all about opinions
