Didn't see it but I am always willing to listen to what he has to say. A really decent man

Very interesting and down to earth guy.
At least he wants to fight his way out of the position he is in and repay the money he owes rather than walk away.

I didn't see it but I think he's a clown so I assume the interview was a media circus

How long is this going to go on without someone putting a stop to it?

I can only presume it's your anti-Wallace ranting since he upset your manager, who walked out on you a few weeks later.

I wish the clown would come to Bray Wanderers, Ferrycarraig Park the creation of Mick Wallace is the envy of every LOI club.
Mick is a credit to the LOI and I am sure he let you and us warm up on the pitch next year ;)

jebus, this is current affairs, either express a proper opinion or put a sock in it.

Everyone else, if you have a problem with a post either report it or keep your trap shut.

I'm not Wallace's biggest fan but it is refreshing to have at least one property developer in this country who has some degree of a social conscience, he came across well, spoke the truth but once he likened Fianna Fáil to the mafia FF hackboy Tubridy skewed the interview to stop Wallace in his tracks and from there on it was a dull and sanitised interview that had the potential to be more explosive.

Hopefully Wallace battles through this downturn but I have feeling a certain elite group of people will do whatever they can to keep him down (and to shut him up)

Thought the bit where he he said he went to meet the bank one day after coming from a site where he had just poured conctete to be interesting... and they insisted they'd only loan to him if he took on an accountant.

I think wallace is a decent enough bloke (even if Wexford Youths are a shower of divers and playacters),but, I find it hard to take seriously an interview being held by that yank wannabee Tubridy. A vile cretin

He's done a great job at Ferrycarraig , But he has made money as a developer & made a lot of money out of Dublin City Council. Its suits him to say that he lost the contracts because of his politics. All these contracts are open to tender. I'd take all that with a pinch of salt.

I heard that yrs ago, i also heard he lost a lot of business with them because he spoke out about the backhander culture etc.

Wheres the evidence? Just sour grapes. He made plenty of money & built & owns plenty of property.

In the main, if you're the cheapest and your product is reasonable, congrats you're the winner.

I think that this is a slightly over optimistic view of procurement in certain Councils in operation in Ireland up to at least the year 2000. Even now, I think reasonable could be substituted for "passable".

I'd have to say the quality of Siacs work is as good as any i've seen.

yes hes lost millions
yes hes opinionated
but he wasnt complaining just said he'll get on with it
