Im gonna go with a one nil win......Robbie Keane midway through 2nd half

Not gonna guess what way pens will go...but i have a horrible record as a supporter of any team in them...hopefully that changes tonight if it comes down to it.

Yeah, one nil to us with Hunty getting the winner!
The country will then erupt as we go through on penalties.

1-0 Ireland and we win in extra time

OR

2-1 Ireland and no extra time!

Disclaimer

Please note that the above advice is not based on historical performance and Ireland can go up as well as down. In fact it certainly is not based on recent performance as Ireland hardly created a chance in Croke Park. The above prediction is based purely on a "feeling"

Anyone relying financially on this prediction is an idiot. Please refer any complaints to kissmyOmbuttsMan@UMuppet.ie

1-2 Ireland. I predicted we might get beat at Croker (albeit 2-1) and comback in the Paris game. I just feel we are better playing away from home under Trap's system. Duff, Dunne and O'Shea can play better than they did on Saturday night. I expect big games from all three tonight.

2-0 France but really hope we can win. I expect the french think they've qualified already so that is a major plus.

1-1, france take the lead, ireland rally late and grab a goal but its too late

3-1 France , i just feel if they can go to Croker in that atmosphere and beat us and restrict us to a couple of half chances in our own ground ,then i just dont see them having any problems getting a comfortable win in Stade de France. God i hope im wrong come on Ireland !!

2:1 Ireland with Ireland down to 10 men, no doubt about it.

You can get 15/2 Ireland winning at betfair, that's 7.5 to 1, I think I will have a bit of that.

France 2:0 Ireland

France to control the game. Score 1 in each half. Keep us at arms length for the 90 by retaining the ball. Ireland to scuff the only clear cut chance we get.

I really hope I am wrong (which I frequently am).

That is the most likely outcome unfortunately :(

Unfortunately have to agree with this. That said, I'm currently buzzing in anticipation of the match and I retain the hope that something special could happen - it'd be beyond my wildest dreams if they pull it off.

I think we could be on the cusp of a miracle. I think something odd could happen similar to the Italian match but that we benefit on the scoreboard.

I'm going to go for a 2-1 Ireland win.

3-2 to us. We'll go ahead with a Keane goal but Henry equalises just before half time. 10 minutes into the second, Anelka adds another and it looks like all is lost. But 5 minutes later with the ball ping-ponging around in the French penalty area, Andrews gets a shot through from 10 yards out, deflecting twice along the way. 2 minutes to go, John O'Shea finally gets one in against France after they fail to clear from a corner kick. There will be confusion at the final whistle as France thinks that it goes to extra time but we qualify on the Away Goals rule. FIFA and UEFA try to change that rule tomorrow morning but they eventually have to back down.

A friend of mine gave me 25/1 for Ireland to qualify... Couldn't turn that down

3-0 France, tight game until Anelka scores, then Ireland wrecklessly push on and Henry capitalises twice.
