a 400 club has also been launched, each person gives €10 per week gets a season ticket, entered in a forghtnightly draw, generous discounts from various shops in town.
do the sums, its an excellent fundraiser.

Myself and Xlex have done a couple of years ago.... As far as I recall it was brought to the club and was rejected.

We have the super draw coming up, and the Corporate Dinner, so we're not exactly doing nothing. And we obviously don't have as far to go as yourselves in terms of getting a licence (sure we could close most of the ground and upgrade the floodlights and be pretty much there groundwise, a la Derry).

I reckon if ye set it out in a well laid out package setting out what would be involved and who would be responsible for the running and admin of it then the club might be receptive to another approach. Thats just based on a conversation i had with a couple of committee members to whom i mentioned your idea. I cant see why there'd be any objection to it in theory..

Fair enough. We'll be ready for next season. All we need is creditablity and some flexability and we will be ready to offer an alternative way of supporters providing finance. But we'd expect a fair ear.

Not sure it was cancelled as such, just announced before it was confirmed...
